Best Box

Best Box (The Netherlands)
Best Box was a Dutch diecast toy manufacturer active in the 1960s, producing miniature vehicles similar in size and style to Matchbox. The company operated during a time when diecast toys were gaining popularity across Europe, offering an affordable and local alternative to British imports.

Their models, often cast in zinc alloy, featured a modest level of detail and came in simple but charming packaging. Vehicles ranged from passenger cars to construction equipment, reflecting everyday life in post-war Europe.

In the early 1970s, Best Box evolved into what would become the Efsi brand, shifting focus toward promotional and commercial models — marking the end of the Best Box name but the continuation of Dutch diecast tradition.
