Blue Box

Blue Box (Hong Kong)
Founded in the 1950s, Blue Box was a Hong Kong-based toy company that produced a wide range of plastic and diecast toys. During the 1960s and 1970s, Blue Box released a line of diecast vehicles aimed at the international market, often positioned as lower-cost alternatives to brands like Matchbox and Corgi.

These models were typically made in smaller scales, with simple but appealing designs. Many featured metal bases and colorful paintwork, capturing the look of contemporary cars, trucks, and military vehicles.

While not as detailed as premium brands, Blue Box diecasts were widely distributed and are remembered today for their role in making toy vehicles accessible during the early years of Hong Kong’s toy export boom.
